Forfeit · Solana protocol · pre-launch
Put money on your word.
A team writes down a promise the chain can check and locks a stake behind it. A YES/NO market puts odds on it. Miss the deadline and the stake is forfeit.
Pre-launch: nothing is live yet. Every number on this page is an example.
01 · The promise
Write it so the chain can check it.
Not "soon", and not a roadmap slide. A promise on Forfeit is a condition a program can read for itself, plus a deadline.

02 · The stake
Lock money behind it.
The team deposits a stake that stays locked until the deadline. If the promise fails, that stake is the first money to go, so its size tells everyone how sure the team really is.
03 · The market
Buyers put a number on it.
Anyone can buy YES or NO. A share pays 1 USDC if its side turns out right, so a YES at 64¢ means buyers see about a 64% chance the promise is kept.
No position yet. Each buy spends 10 demo USDC.
04 · The check
No vote. A check.
At the deadline the program reads the chain for itself. Is the code deployed? Did the wallet stay put? Did the fees arrive? Nobody decides the result, so there's nothing to argue over.

05 · The ending
Kept, or forfeit.
The stake goes home.
The team gets its 40,000 USDC back. Every YES share pays 1 USDC. NO shares pay nothing.
The stake goes to NO.
The 40,000 USDC is split across NO shares. With 25,000 NO shares out, each gets 1.60 USDC of stake on top of its 1 USDC payout. YES shares pay nothing.
